Led by a trained art therapist, each experience is tailored to your loved one’s unique interests—whether it's painting, drawing, knitting, gardening, or another beloved hobby. These sessions aren't just about art—they're about joy, connection, and rediscovering moments of self-expression that feel meaningful and empowering.

Who We serve

Our art therapist and creative care partner support individuals in Dallas, TX and surrounding areas, including both independent seniors and younger adults experiencing early-onset dementia or cognitive challenges. Whether your loved one is a retiree seeking connection or a younger individual navigating cognitive decline, our sessions provide meaningful engagement and emotional support through creativity and compassion.

Art making sessions

During our art-making sessions, individuals and their families can look forward to a warm, engaging experience tailored to each person’s unique interests and abilities. Whether it’s painting, drawing, crafting, or another creative activity, we provide all materials and guide participants gently through each project at their own pace. No prior art experience is needed—just a willingness to explore. Every session offers an opportunity for self-expression, emotional relief, and joyful connection in a relaxed, supportive setting.

Memory support

Creative expression through art is a powerful tool for those experiencing memory loss or cognitive challenges, regardless of age. For individuals with early-onset dementia or neurological changes, art-making can stimulate cognitive function, foster memory recall, and reduce anxiety or frustration. Through color, texture, and familiar themes, participants reconnect with their identity and enjoy moments of calm, connection, and self-discovery. Each session is thoughtfully designed to be a safe, enjoyable, and uplifting experience.

Limitations of Creative Care partners

Our creative care partners bring warmth, empathy, and skill to every session—but they are not medical or nursing professionals. While we do not provide clinical or medical care, we specialize in facilitating enriching, creative experiences that support emotional well-being and enhance quality of life through artistic engagement and companionship.

Training

Our team includes a licensed art therapist and trained mental health professional with deep expertise in both creativity and emotional care. While our sessions focus on artistic exploration and enjoyment—not therapy or treatment—this professional background ensures a sensitive, compassionate approach. Each session is crafted to support joy, emotional safety, and self-expression in a way that respects every individual’s journey. Our facilitator is currently obtaining their Certified Dementia Practitioner Certification, CDP with the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners.

Cost

Each one-hour art-making session is offered at just $75, providing a valuable, creative outlet and joyful experience for older adults and seniors. Our goal is to expand support services by bringing meaningful, stress-free activities directly into the home, enhancing well-being, and enriching daily life in a way that’s both accessible and enjoyable.
